The Chinese New Year in Rome: Year of The Horse

On 25 January the China celebrated in Rome the begin of the New Year:

The Year of the Horse, starting in China in the end of January.

The event took place in Piazza del Popolo, inaugurated by an opening parade of all the artists on the Via del Corso, and the official launch of the Mayor of Rome Ignazio Marino and the new Chinese Ambassador Li Ruiyu, with the participation of many artists directly from China, from Hunan Province and Shanxi Province.

At the end there was even a fireworks show, with fireworks from the Pincio, to complete an amazing day which was attended by a large number of people, which has filled the whole Piazza del Popolo.
