Rome has hosted, from 26 September to 4 October, the fifteenth edition of “ASIATICA – Meeting with Asian cinema.” Thanks always Indonesian Embassy to the Holy See and its Ambassador Mr. H.E. Budiarman Bahar, ASIATICA had as its corollary the cultural dance performance group Rumah Budaya Nusantara Puspo Budoyo, who opened the festival at the museum MACRO Sept. on 26, and then performed at the Palladium Theatre on 27 in a long session comprising seven different dances and songs arranged with traditional Indonesian instruments: Gamelan, Angklung and Kolintang.
For the second time in Rome, the dance group delighted the audience with their performance and their gorgeous costumes.
The Mission Director of “Puspo Budoyo” is Luluk Sumiarso and Advisor is Hari Sulistyowati.

Jaipongan Puspo Dance (West Jawa)
Gandrung Dance (East Jawa)
Zapin Dance (Sumatra)
Dadas Dance (Central Kalimantan)
Saman Dance (Aceh)
With some traditional songs and western songs like “Es Lilin”, “Kopi Dangdut” and “Besame Mucho”
